Join us for a food styling photography workshop in Châtenay Malabry, Ile de France, France, with food stylists and photographers Lucie BECK from @Luciebeck, Gianpiera CONTI from @goodlifeoclock and Massiel HABCHI from @mzcuisine the 6th of April 2019 from 09:00 am till 17:30 pm in a beautiful and cozy appartment.

During our workshop, you will learn all the food styling photography aspects from shooting manual mode with your DSLR camera or shooting with your mobile phone, to composition techniques and Lightroom tutorials.

Who can attend this workshop?

If you are a food blogger, social media influencer or passionate about food styling photography, then this workshop is for you. You don’t need to have a certain level in photography in order to participate, we will be there to ensure you learn quickly many technics as possible during the day.


THE PROGRAM

9:00 am - 09:45 am: We welcome you over a delicious and typical Parisian petit-déjeuner (coffee, tea and viennoiseries) where we make an introduction about us and the participants.

9:45 am – 10:30 am: Presentation about photography's theory behind the manual shooting and the triangle of aperture, ISO and shutter speed; finding your own voice in food styling, creating a presence for your blog on Instagram and theory behind composition technics.

10:30 am – 12:30 pm: First food styling and photography setup theme: breakfast in Paris.

We will be shooting all kinds of typical Parisian breakfast using viennoiseries from Graine d’Artiste, honey from Miel Hédène, glasses from Bloomix and ceramics from woow ceramics. And we will create moody (and/or bright) and storytelling photos using natural light. We will guide you through the process of props and colors choices, finding the best composition, shooting angle and lighting.

12:45 pm – 13:30 pm: we will gather around a delicious Lebanese lunch from Le Mezze du village.

13:45 pm – 15:45 pm: Second food styling and photography setup theme: Easter tea time.

Shooting in action photos, elaborating visual story telling photos while using florals ararngements created by Aude Rose and Easter chocolate pieces created by Michel Cluizel.

15:55 pm – 17:00 pm: Post production, Lightroom tutorial and mobile applications editing tutorial. We will share with you all the tips about editing on Lightroom, how to create your own preset and how to edit your photos on mobile applications (for example Snapseed / VSCO).

17:00 pm - 17:30 pm: We will end the workshop on a sweet note with a glass of champagne and the sweets prepared with love by Gianpiera, Lucie and Massiel & until next time :)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Languages:

The workshop will be taught mainly in French and English. But we can also chat with you in Dutch, Italian and Arabic if needed.

Number of participants:

12 participants to guarantee maximal 1-2-1 interactions. Booking early is highly recommended as spaces are limited.

What to bring with you? Please bring your DSLR or your iPhone camera. Tripod is optional.

Cost: 220 euros per participant - early bird ticket until March 8*.

Full price: 280 euros per participant.

*No refunds available after booking unless you can find someone to fill your space.
