Middle Eastern Orange Blossom Water & Pistachio Mille-Feuille

Middle Eastern Orange Blossom Water & Pistachio Mille-Feuille

When I was contacted by the Lebanese magazine Jamalouki and the topic was to recreate an European dish or dessert with a Middle Eastern twist, I was more than happy to propose my signature Mille-Feuille.

I was inspired by the flavors and specially the debut of the Spring season to prepare this mille-feuille.

To recreate this mille-feuille, all you have to do is to follow all the steps mentioned in my blogpost entitled: '“ “Molecule” savory & sweet Mille-feuille”. The rings are as you can see made of puff pastries and the fillings are orange blossom water Chantilly cream for the biggest ring and pistachio chantilly cream for the little one.

The originality of this version is mainly the flavors that remind me of all the middle-eastern desserts.

TIP: All you have to do is to follow the steps mentioned in my article and to replace the tablespoon of cocoa powder by a tablespoon of orange blossom water.
